I ran an orienteering race here in 1981, at the age of 14 together with my father (see map below). I have no recollection from the race nor the terrain, other than cycling to the race from Lesjaskog and take the train home to Hamar directly after the race. Though the terrain is said to be very nice.

   The high quality of the map at the time (1974), stemmed from the existence of large scale aerial imagery taken for the planning of the Raumabanen railway line passing through the map.
